Short version: you can use FC Team Draft with no account — in that case your gameplay data stays only in your own browser, nothing is sent anywhere. If you create an account, your sessions, profile, and any friends you add are stored on our server (Firebase) so they sync across your devices — details below. The site also shows ads, has an optional feedback form, and sells an optional "Pro" unlock through Stripe.
Gameplay data — player names, sessions, drafted teams, match history — is never sent
anywhere by default. It's saved using your browser's local storage
(localStorage), directly on your device, and we never see it, collect it, or
have access to it. Clearing your browser data, uninstalling the app, or switching browser/
device will remove or not show this data, since it was never stored anywhere else. You can
back up your sessions yourself at any time from the side menu (Export), and restore them
later (Import).
Signing in is optional and only needed to sync sessions across devices, add friends, or buy Pro. Accounts are handled by Firebase Authentication — either an email address + password, or Google Sign-In (which shares your Google name/email/profile photo with us, per Google's own consent screen). Once signed in, the following is stored on our server (Google Cloud Firestore), tied to your account:
You can change your username (once) and email (once) from your profile, and delete a session at any time from the side menu. To delete your account and all associated data entirely, use the feedback form (side menu → Send Feedback) or contact us — see "Contact" below.

Removing a friend stops future sharing, but doesn't retroactively delete stats already credited or messages already sent.
Buying or activating Pro requires being signed in — Pro status is stored on our server against your account, not your device, so it's available on every device you sign into. Starting Pro's 3-day free trial requires entering your card details through Stripe's own checkout page — we never see or store your card details ourselves. The trial is set up as a Stripe subscription so it can auto-charge €4.99 once the trial ends unless you cancel first (your profile → Cancel trial / manage billing, which opens Stripe's own billing portal); after that single charge we cancel the subscription on our end so it never bills again. We only ever receive confirmation of payment/subscription events from Stripe, which is what activates or updates your account's Pro status.
The feedback form (side menu → Send Feedback) is a separate, always-optional path: if you use it, the message and/or email address you type is sent to us via Netlify Forms, so we can read it and, if you left an email, reply.
We don't set any cookies ourselves. This site shows ads through Google AdSense, which does use cookies and similar technology to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads based on your browsing. If you're visiting from the EU, UK, or Switzerland, you'll see a consent choice (accept or reject) before any personalized-ads cookies are set — you can change your choice at any time. The Android/iOS app (not the website) shows ads through Google AdMob instead of AdSense — same purpose, different SDK because AdSense doesn't work inside an app. AdMob may use device identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads. See how AdMob uses data.
FC Team Draft ships with no real-world club artwork — team crests are generated by the app itself. You can optionally import your own crest pack (a JSON file, from your device or a URL you provide) to replace them with your own images. A pack you import is stored only on your device/account like any other setting; if you import via URL, that request goes directly to the address you typed, the same as loading any other image or font on this site.
FC Team Draft doesn't knowingly collect any personal information from children. Using the app without an account keeps all gameplay data on your own device; creating an account, the optional feedback form, friends/chat, and Pro purchases are aimed at an adult audience and shouldn't be used by children to submit personal information or make payments.
